My name is Peter Tran and I am a senior mortgage broker with Central Choice
My background is as a pharmacist, where for three years I have been the manager at a pharmacy one of Australia's largest pharmacy chains which employed over 65 staff.
During my career, I was offered various opportunities to open up to 5 pharmacies, but I declined. The reason behind this was at the time I had just purchased my first investment property and I had caught the "property bug!" Through further consultations with senior members of the organisation, I discovered that I wanted to do more than just be a pharmacist. One of the senior directors within the group had an MBA, was involved with the music program at the University of NSW, and was also involved in other businesses. This inspired me to follow my own passion, which is property investment. Over the last few years, I have personally bought 3 properties around Victoria, and I am actually looking at buying interstate down the track.
Furthermore, having gone through that entire process of having the opportunity to own a pharmacy, I have a very strong and detailed understanding of how to finance all types of loans for health professionals like myself, such as doctors, dentists and pharmacists. I will be able to show you the different types of packages that are available for health professionals including all of the special discounts that you would qualify for as I have spent lots of time trying to get all these discounts for myself! However, my expertise is not just limited sourcing finance for your home loan; I have many connections within the private divisions of many of the banks that are not generally available to the general public, and I can also source business loans that will enable you to start up, fund, and acquire medical practices, dental surgeries, retail pharmacies and other associated businesses within the health industry.
With my properties, I've personally used the services of 2 different mortgage brokers and generally I would have to say I was not happy with them at all. There was a severe lack of communication and a general lack of care overall. From my pharmacy and property experience, I understand that one needs to provide service beyond just the basic product. Ongoing care is essential, and this is something I understand and will deliver for you. This distinguishes my service from that you would get from a bank or other mortgage brokers.
In the future, my own personal goal is to continue to be active in the property market. This will involve purchasing more investments and assisting clients such as yourself buying property for your own personal goals.
